GMR Infrastructure was the highest bidder to develop the USD 400 million airport with partner Megawide Construction Corp.

The project landed in a controversy after allegations against GMR were made by Filinvest Land Inc, the second-highest bidder for modernising the airport.

Refuting the allegations, Kapur said they are positive the Philippines government will take the right decision.

"It is going positive. Looks like may be in another few days we should get the outcome. It (the allegations) is all sour grapes," he said.

On the proposed initial share sale plan of the group's airports business, he said it will go ahead when market conditions are conducive.
