Share price of Eros jumped over 5% as soon as the news of Bombay High Court suspending actor Salman Khan's jail term hit the markets. Mandhana Industries, too, saw an uptick of over 2%.

The Bombay High Court said that the final hearing on the appeal of suspension of jail term will take place in July. Till that time the actor will remain out of jail. 

On the Bombay Stock Exchange's (BSE) Sensex, shares of Eros International were trading at Rs 407 a share, up Rs 22 or 5.6% at 1 pm. Mandhana Industries, was up over 2%, at Rs 264 per share. 

The Bombay High Court on April 8 suspended Salman Khan's jail term pending appeal. Earlier this week, Sessions Court in Mumbai and found him guilty on all charges and handed down a 5-year jail term to the actor for a hit-and-run case in 2002.
