Going to spa, gymnasium and living in expensive rooms in hotels will become costlier from Saturday with the Delhi government notifying the increase in luxury tax.

"The government has notified the increased luxury tax which will come into force from tomorrow," said a senior government official.

The proposal to increase luxury tax from 10% to 15% was tabled by Deputy Chief minister Manish Sisodia in Assembly in June and the government has now notified its decision.

After the notification of the increase in luxury tax, going to restaurants, clubs, gym, spa will become costlier.
