Calling Chinmoy Sharma a social media nerd would be an understatement. He breathes social media. He is quite aware of the nuances of social media and understands its importance. Digital and social media has been on a surge since the last few years, and it is only going to grow. Now even the mainstream brands are foraying into social media and marking their social media presence felt.
Chinmoy Sharma believes that everyone should be on social media if they want to promote themselves or their brand or service. Despite desperately wanting to kick-start a Social Marketing Campaign, some find it impossible to do so, either due to financial constraints, or an evident lack of information regarding Social Media Management.
Chinmoy Sharma was born in Nalbari, Assam but later moved to Guwahati because of his father’s job. He earned his Bachelor's Degree in Science from a college affiliated to Guwahati University. But he did not want a usual desk job. He wanted to do something different in life.
The year 2014-2015 was exceptionally good and challenging for Chinmoy, as it was then when he decided to take the plunge into the field of social media marketing and digital marketing and devote all his time and energy to it. Chinmoy’s social media account had experienced significant growth between the years 2015-17.
In 2017 he received his first brand assignment, which helped him enter the world of digital marketing. After that there was no looking back. He had decided which course to follow and he knew that despite all encumbrances, he will get wherever he wants to be.
In 2018, he met Parikshit Shah, a restless youngster like him, but from Navi Mumbai. These two bonded over shared ideas and vision, and ultimately decided to form Eerlik Media. Their aim was and still is to make Digital marketing accessible for all.
Chinmoy says ‘Digital Marketing is an important way to connect with your prospective audience and clients. However, many people are not aware of how to go about it and end up spending a lot of time and money without getting any results. Eerlik media was founded with the aim of taking digital marketing to everyone. We want every budding actor, celebrity, every entrepreneur, businessman to use digital marketing to promote themselves, their brand, and their product or service’.
Eerlik Media is a digital marketing company based in Navi Mumbai. It offers services like social media promotion, content writing, graphic designing, website designing, and SEO, etc. Chinmoy says, "Our aim is to help our clients reach their targeted audience across the country".
