Cadila Healthcare posts Q4 net profit at Rs 385.5 cr

Drug firm Cadila Healthcare today reported consolidated net profit at Rs 385.5 crore for the quarter ended March 31.

The company had posted a net profit after taxes, non controlling interests, share of profit/loss of joint ventures of Rs 568.2 crore in the corresponding period of the previous fiscal, Cadila Healthcare said in a BSE filing.

The company said the results of the fourth quarter and the fiscal year ended March 2017 are not comparable with the same period of the last fiscal on account of scheme of arrangement between the company and one of its subsidiaries.

Consolidated total revenue of the company stood at Rs 2,598 crore for the quarter under consideration. It was Rs 2,426.4 crore for the same period a year ago.

For the fiscal year ended March this year, the net profit of the company stood at Rs 1,487.7 crore. It was Rs 1,933.9 crore for the year ago fiscal.

Total revenue of the company stood at Rs 9,753.9 crore for the fiscal year ended March 2017. It was Rs 9,732.6 crore for the previous fiscal year.
