4 stocks that may give maximum returns in budget week

The Narendra Modi government will be presenting its fifth and final Budget before the Parliament on February 1. With experts believing that the Prime Minister Modi led government will be announcing big sops for common man, markets analysts have asked investors to keep an eye on certain stocks that may witness a rally in the ongoing budget week. 

Following are the companies shares that may give you huge returns: 

1. Coal India

Analysts say that the Finance Minister Arun Jaitley may announce some sops related to the PM Modi's ambitious plan to provide power for all. In the wake of which, Coal India may witness advantages in the terms of surge on the indices. 

On Jan 29, at 11:09, the Coal India shares were trading in green at the price of Rs 304.10

The government's initiatives aiming to deliver '24X7 power for all' and promote renewables as the future source of energy have led to calibrated reforms in the power sector in the past two to three years. The targeted 175 gigawatt (gw) renewables capacity by 2022 has had a decent onset with cumulative renewables capacity at around 60 gw.

2. Dewan Housing Finance Corp. Ltd.

With an expectation that the Budget 2018 may include major announcements related to 'housing for all' programme, the shares of DHFL are expected to surge. 

DHFL was established to enable access to affordable housing finance to the lower and middle income groups in semi-urban and rural parts of India, the company's website stated. 

On Jan 29, DHFL stocks were trading positive at Rs 603.85 per share with a 1.35 per cent increase. 

3. LIC Housing Finance

The reason behind LIC Housing finace is same as what it is for DHFL. besides, the announcementrs related to housing in Budget 2018, shares of LIC housing finance  has formed a strong base near 540 – 535 zone. The current level of the firm on indices are Rs 565 with a target price of Rs627. 

4. Agricultural stocks

The agri-based firms are also expected to surge. The Modi government's focus to boost the rural economy could not be ignored and market watchers expect some huge announcements related to the same in the Union Budget 2018.
