MUMBAI: Bank of Baroda (BoB) has opened its second branch in South Africa at Johannesburg taking the total tally of the public sector lender's overseas offices to 63 spread across 21 countries.

The Johannesburg branch is a full-service facility and is equipped with state-of-the-art technology and connected through core banking solution, a bank release said here.

The branch offers the full range of banking products and services to its customers including personal banking, tade finance, SME financing, wholesale banking, remittances, NRI services and convenience of alternative delivery channels.

The branch was inaugurated on Monday by India's High Commissioner R K Bhatia in the presence of Anil Khandelwal, Chairman and Managing Director of the bank, which now has 27 branches in seven countries of Africa.
