On June 15, banks will remain close due to Y.M.A. Day/Raja Sankranti. There will be bank holidays on June 25 due to Guru Hargobind Ji’s Birthday and on June 30 due to Remna Ni.

It may be noted that RBI has categorically mentioned that banks in certain states and cities will remain close on these three holidays.

In the RBI list, three types of holidays are mentioned – Holiday under Negotiable Instruments Act, Holiday under Negotiable Instruments Act and Real Time Gross Settlement Holiday, and Banks’ Closing of Accounts.

Other than these, banks will remain close on four days due to weekends. Banks will remain close on June 12 for second Saturday, June 13 for second Sunday, June 26 due to fourth Saturday, and on June 27 due to fourth Sunday.
