The board of directors of Bajaj Holdings, Bajaj Finserv and Bajaj Finance announced on Friday that they have appointed Gita Piramal as the Non-Executive, Independent Director on their respective boards.
“I feel privileged and look forward to working with Mr. Bajaj and the board” said Gita Piramal.
At the meetings of the board of directors, held on 27th and 28th March 2014, the three companies formalized the appointment of Piramal. She will now form a part of an elite group of professionals appointed as independent directors, like Naresh Chandra, DJ Balaji Rao, Nanoo Pamnani, SH Khan, Omkar Goswami and P Murari, among others.

Piramal joins the existing eight-member board at Bajaj Finserv, 11-member board at Bajaj Finance, and 10-member board at Bajaj Holdings & Investment Ltd.
