The A6 facelift will go up against BMW 5-series, Mercedes E-class and the Jaguar XF.

It is available only in the S-line variant. It gets Matrix LED head-lamps, a more prominent front grille, a restyled bumper, re-styled side skirts, and revised tail-lamps too.

The inside gets a Bose Surround Sound system, four-zone climate control, an updated infotainment system with voice activation and handwriting recognition, and a button for the rear seat passenger to move the front seat forward easily.

Under the hood, the A6 facelift is powered by a 2.0-litre TDI diesel motor, mated to a seven-speed automatic gearbox.
