Hinduja Group flagship firm Ashok Leyland on Tuesday reported a 25% increase in total sales at 13,403 units in February.

The sales of medium and heavy commercial vehicles jumped 31% to 10,798 units in February as against 8,230 in the same month a year ago, the company said in a statement.
The company's light commercial vehicles sales went up 3% to 2,605 units as against 2,532 units in February 2015.
At 1332 hours, the shares of Ashok Leyland were trading up 2.57% or Rs 2.25 at Rs 89.85 per scrip on the BSE.
