Ambuja Cements September production at 14.84-lakh tonnes

Cement-maker Ambuja Cements Limited (ACL), today said that its production in September stood at 14.84-lakh tonnes as against 13.82-lakh tonnes in the year-ago period.Its despatches in the month stood at 14.81-lakh tonnes as against 13.59-lakh tonnes in the year-ago period, a press release issued here stated.For the period January-September, the company's cement production stood at 151.48-lakh tonnes as against 140.90-lakh tonnes in the year-ago period.For the same period, its despatches stood at 151.29-lakh as against 140.90-lakh tonnes in the same period last year, the release said.
