Air Vistara 5-year anniversary sale ends soon; domestic air tickets for Rs 995

To celebrate the five-year anniversary of its operation in India, low-cost airline Vistara has launched an attractive offer to flyers, offering domestic air tickets for as low as Rs 995.

The airline is also offering international return tickets starting from Rs 14,555. 

The sale started at 00:01 am on January 9, 2020 and will close at 11:59 pm on January 10, 2020 for travel between January 25 and September 30 2020. 

"To celebrate the 5 sensational years of Vistara, we are delighted to announce a special 48-hour sale with attractive fares! The Sale fares are available for all three classes of travel across our domestic and international network. Fares for our domestic destinations start at INR 995 for Economy Class, INR 1,995 for Premium Economy and INR 5,555 for Business Class; while fares for our international destinations start at INR 14,555 for Economy Class, INR 19,995 for Premium Economy and INR 35,555 for Business Class, inclusive of all taxes and fees," the airline announced. 

A minimum of 15 days advance purchase is required to make bookings.

The airline is also offering cashback offers when the booking is done directly on Vistara platforms using Bank Of Baroda (BFSL) or RBL Bank Credit Card.

A customer is eligible for Rs 500 cashback on one way and Rs1000 cashback on round trip domestic flights. For international bookings, Rs 1000 cashback on one way and Rs 2000 cashback on round trip flights is being offered.

Tickets can be booked on www.airvistara.com, Vistara’s iOS and Android mobile apps, at Vistara’s Airport Ticket Offices (ATOs), through Vistara’s Call Centre, and through Online Travel Agencies (OTAs) and travel agents. 

Fares depend on route and distance travelled, and seats available on sale are limited and available strictly on a first come-first-served basis, Air Vistara said. 

Vistara, a joint venture of Tata Sons and Singapore Airlines Limited (SIA), was launched on January 9, 2015 with a maiden flight from Delhi to Mumbai. Vistara now serves 33 destinations with over 200 flights daily operated by a fleet of 26 Airbus A320 and 9 Boeing 737-800NG aircraft.

Tata Sons holds a 51% stake in partnership and Singapore Airlines owns 49% stake. The holdng company is registered as TATA SIA Airlines Limited.
