7th pay commission: Who's getting how much pay hike, 6 updates to know

As mentioned above, the Tripura government on Tuesday revised the pay structure of its two lakh employees with effect from October 1 this year and claimed that it is on a par with the 7th Central Pay Commission.

According to various reports, the Yogi Adityanath-led Uttar Pradesh government is likely to announce a hike in the Dearness Allowance (DA) for its employees. This is not it as the government also plans to give a bonus to the employees by October end. If implemented, the move will benefit around 18 lakh employees a report claims. Currently, the employees are currently getting 7 per cent Dearness Allowance which will increase to 9 per cent after the announcement. The hike will be implemented from July 2018 and the employees will be getting arrears for three months.

A certain section of teachers was planning to go on strike over their various demands including implementation of 7th Pay Commission as soon as possible. However, paying heed to their demands, Bihar Deputy CM Sushil Modi has said that the state government has constituted a 3 member pay committee to look into the matter.

Modi also assured that both the teaching and non-teaching staff would get the revised pay as per the recommendations of the 7th pay commission. 

Madhya Pradesh government has decided to implemet the 7th pay commission. The 7th CPC in Madhya Pradesh will be implemented from January 1, 2016. Due to which, the state employees will get an increased salary for 32 months. Madhya Pradesh's Public Relation Minister Narottam Mishra has announced it on September 7 that the proffesors of every state-funded college in Madhya Pradesh will get the pay hike. 

The Department of Personnel and Training had announced that the LTC scheme will now allow government staff to travel by air to the North East Region, Jammu and Kashmir and Andaman and Nicobar Islands. It further said that the scheme has been extended for a further period of 2 years with effect from September 26, 2018 to September 25, 2020.

The employees get reimbursement of tickets for to and fro journey, besides paid leaves, when they avail LTC allowance. They are also allowed to travel in any private airline to these places, the order issued by the Personnel Ministry said.
