'Would get married by February-March': Sushant Singh Rajput's father reveals their last conversation

It has been 12 days since Sushant Singh Rajput committed suicide, leaving people in shock and confusion. Amidst that, an interview where his father revealed their last conversation, which was about the actor's wedding, has been going viral.

In a Television interview, Sushant's father said that the actor was quite open when he was young but turned more reserved as he grew older. He revealed that their last conversation was Sushant telling his father that he is waiting for his movie 'Dil Bechara's release and would look forward to a wedding in February-March.

Sushant's father said, “Iss par baat hui thi, usne bola tha ki corona me toh nahi, fir uske baad ek film aa rahi hai, wo karlenge, uske baad February-March mein dekhte hai karenge. Yehi last baat hui thi uske sath meri (We had spoken about it earlier. He had told me that he won’t get married during corona but after his upcoming film releases, he will think about planning a wedding around February-March. This was the last conversation we had about his marriage).”

Sushant Singh Rajput was found hanging in his Bandra apartment on June 14, 2020. The actor's last movie 'Dil Bechara' is now slated for OTT release on Disney+Hotsar on July 24, 2020. Helmed by veteran casting director and debut director Mukesh Chhabra, the movie also features debutante actress Sanjana Sanghi in the lead role.
