A couple of months back it was reported that Shah Rukh Khan is back with script-reading and might work with Rajkumar Hirani. For the uninitiated, SRK and Hirani were about to work in 2003 in his directorial debut Munna Bhai M.B.B.S. which was eventually done by Sanjay Dutt. It's been more than 15 years and the filmmaker never got a chance to work with Shah Rukh and is likely to not miss an opportunity this time.

As per reports in Deccan Chronicle, SRK has shown likingness to Hirani's script and might eventually say yes to it. Earlier, while talking about the same, a source had said to Mid Day, "People have been waiting for Shah Rukh to announce his next project after Zero. Shah Rukh and Hirani have been meeting for a few months to discuss this. It's almost finalised. Hirani will float his own banner and will not [work] with Vidhu Vinod Chopra, as has been the norm. It's a romantic drama with a strong emotional cord running through; it's right up SRK's alley."

Meanwhile, earlier this year, Hirani was accused of sexual misconduct by an employee but the complainant did not register the police complaint which led to the case hitting the roadblock. Thus, this has led to Hirani jumping back to work and is all set to start a new project which will likely to be Munna Bhai 3 or the one with SRK.

On the other hand, King Khan recently voiced the character of Mufasa in the Hindi version of The Lion King.
