So much has happened so quickly. A few days ago, the Phantom Films quartet — Anurag Kashyap, Vikas Bahl, Vikramaditya Motwane and Madhu Mantena — announced their decision to separate. The battle got murky with three of the four men — Vikas against Anurag and Vikramaditya — taking to social media to first exchange “sexual harassment” allegations. Soon, things took a turn for the worse when Vikas sent defamatory notices to two of his erstwhile partners — Anurag and Vikramaditya — telling them to apologise to him for slinging mud at him.

The notice (below) clearly threatens criminal proceedings against them. Of course, the collateral damage here is that if Phantom, which is reportedly valued at Rs 300 crore plus according to industry sources, shuts shop, then about a 100-odd employees are likely to lose their means of livelihood.
