When Salman Khan stepped into Aamir Khan's shoes for Divya Bharti

Aamir Khan has not got the tag of Mr. Perfectionist for no reason. The birthday was once so upset with late actress Divya Bharti that he made her cry and had even gone on to the extent of replacing her in a film. However his friend Salman Khan came to the rescue then. Here's how...

Reportedly Aamir Khan was upset with Divya Bharti for her behavious during a show in London. The actress claimed that she made a mistake but was quick enough to cover it up. She added that Aamir should have actually apologized to her.

Aamir Khan soon got to know about her mistake and got the actress replaced at once. Aamir told the organizers of the show that he would perform with Juhi Chawla instead of Divya. When asked to perform a medley with her, he reportedly even refused that after saying that he was too tired.

Salman Khan however came to Divya Bharti's rescue and performed a medley with her. However Aamir's behaviour reportedly hurt Divya to the extent that she cried for hours in the bathroom. However the actress thought about being paid for the performance and went on the stage.

She also thanked Salman and reportedly said, "Thank god for Salman and his genuine niceness." For the uninitiated, Divya's mother had claimed that while Aamir was still a part of Yash Chopra's film Darr, he got Divya replaced by Juhi. The actress eventually became part of the cult classic starring Shah Rukh Khan in the lead role.
