It was International Women's Day yesterday and like everyone else, B-Town celebs too sent across their wishes with thoughtful messages on social media. Our very own desi girl, Priyanka Chopra, who's currently in the US shooting for Quantico 3 too shared a post with all the ladies on the sets of the show. But something made her call up her Dil Dhadakne Do co-star Ranveer Singh in the middle of the night all the way from the US.
Those who're caught unaware, let us tell you that Ranveer is currently shooting for Zoya Akhtar's next titled Gully Boy. So when he got a video call from Priyanka at night to join her live on Instagram, just as he was about to go and prep for his next shot, he quickly answered it.
Priyanka later shared a clip from their conversation on her Twitter page. She asked Ranveer what he was wearing on the Women's Day. To this, Ranveer replied saying he wore a green coloured skirt.
Not just that, he went on to reveal that it was actually his Gully Boy director Zoya who made everyone on the crew wear skirt on the occasion of Women's Day. Priyanka quickly said, "We've seen you in a skirt before" for Bajirao Mastani.
She even went on to extract a very important message from Ranveer on the occasion of Women's Day as well. Ranveer ends up saying, "...I think I am what I am because of the women in my life." He later on says, "I don't have anything intelligent to say... I need edits in my life for my verbal diaorrhia. The things you talk me into PC, Jesus Christ! I'm on shoot right now. I have to act and all yaar. But we really miss you a lot ya. Why don't you come back to India and do some more Hindi movies."
To that Priyanka replied saying, "It's almost happening Ranno, it's almost happening." It was such a cutesy conversation and it surely made us miss PC as well! And now we also know that Priyanka calls Ranveer by the nickname of 'Ranno'.
