While Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone kept the details of their much private and intimate yet grand wedding under wraps, they finally obliged their fans with the pictures from both Konkani and Sindhi wedding ceremonies on social media on November 15, soon after their Anand Karaj. As soon as they shared the pictures, wishes started flooding on their posts filled with lots of love and blessings.
While a number of B-Town celebs including the likes of Karan Johar, Shraddha Kapoor, Arjun Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Priyanka Chopra among others wished the newly weds, it was Anushka Sharma's message that stole quite a few hearts. Anushka took to her Twitter account and welcomed the newly weds to 'the club' in the best way ever. She wrote, "Wishing you both a world of happiness and a beautiful journey together. May the love & respect you have in each other, grow leaps and bounds. And welcome to the club"
Those who're caught unaware, Ranveer and Anushka are ex flames, who were dating each other for quite a long time in the past before calling it quits. Both Ranveer and Anushka have let the bygones be bygones and share a healthy friendship. In fact, when Anushka tied the knot with Virat Kohli in December last year, Ranveer and Deepika reportedly sent across a huge bouquet of flowers along with a note to their residence to congratulate them. So when first pictures of Ranveer and DP's wedding came out, Anushka was among the first ones to congratulate them.
Wishing you both a world of happiness and a beautiful journey together. May the love & respect you have in each other, grow leaps and bounds. And welcome to the club @RanveerOfficial @deepikapadukone
