Rishi Kapoor and Neetu Kapoor had applauded the heroes during janata curfew

Rishi Kapoor passed away today morning in Mumbai after a two year battle with leukemia. Now a video of the actor applauding the COVID-19 workers during Janata curfew has been going viral on the internet.
In the video, Rishi Kapoor is seen banging the plate with a spoon to cheer for the doctors, nurses, medical staff and policemen who have been fighting the pandemic while whole of India is under lockdown. While he does so, Neetu Kapoor used bells to applaud the workers.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi called for Janata Curfew on March 22 as the first precautionary measure against coronavirus. While he asked people to be in their homes from 7 am to 9 pm, PM Modi also asked them to reach their balconies to applaud the workers who have been helping in fight against COVID-19.
Rishi Kapoor's last tweet also read, "An appeal to all brothers and sisters from all social status and faiths. Please don’t resort to violence,stone throwing or lynching. Doctors,Nurses,Medics, Policemen etc..are endangering their lives to save you. We have to win this Coronavirus war together. Please. Jai Hind!"
