Watch: Deepika Padukone spotted gleefully cycling on New York streets post Met Gala appearance

Deepika Padukone definitely knows how to make headlines. She was previously constantly in news for playing an acid attack survivor named Malti in her next film Chapaak. The movie, which is being directed by Meghna Gulzar, is based on the real-life story of survivor Laxmi Agarwal. Chapaak also stars Vikrant Massey in the lead role.

Apart from Chapaak, Deepika Padukone grabbed eyeballs at her recent Met Gala appearance. She was dressed like a barbie doll at the recently held Met Gala and she became a talk of the town soon enough. The dress enhanced her beauty to another extent.

Deepika was also spotted at the after-party of the Met Gala. While her appearance at the Met Gala was in a pink gown and a huge ponytail, she changed into a yellow mermaid dress for the after-party. Deepika wore a black and white overcoat with the yellow dress at the after-party. The actress bonded with Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas at the after-party.

She however was also captured cycling around New York, where the Met Gala was hosted. Her trainer Nam posted a video of Deepika cycling along with him on the streets of Central Park. A high-on-energy Deepika Padukone rode the cycle at high speed, crossing even Nam's speed, and even waved towards his camera while doing so.
