In just a few hours, Kareena Kapoor Khan will be entering the 40th year of her life. Ahead of that, the actor took to her Instagram page and penned a few thoughts. Kareena posted a beautiful black and white photo of herself. In the photo, she is seen in a breezy look wearing a plaid shirt while left her hair loose open. Kareena also wrote as her caption, "Hey BIG 40 make it BIG."

The Veere Di Wedding actor wrote, "As I enter my 40th year... I want to sit back, reflect, love, laugh, forgive, forget and most importantly pray and thank the strongest force up there for giving me the strength and thank my experiences and decisions for making me the woman I am... Some right, some wrong, some great, some not so... but still, hey BIG 40 make it BIG."

Along with turning 40, Kareena is also pregnant with her second child. She has been showing her glowing pregnant look and upping her maternity fashion game during her outings. 

Meanwhile, on the work front, Kareena will next be seen in Advait Chandan's Laal Singh Chaddha in which she is paired opposite Aamir Khan. The film shooting was suspended due to the coronavirus crisis. Now as per reports, the filming will be resumed in October with utmost precautions.

Laal Singh Chaddha is the Hindi remake of Hollywood film Forrest Gump starring Tom Hanks in the titular role. The film was slated to release on Christmas 2020. However, it has now been pushed by a year.
