Virushka reception: Virat Kohli, Anushka Sharma burn the dance floor with friends and family
Noted Punjabi singer Gurdas Maan also performed at Virat and Anushka’s reception
Indian Cricket team captain Virat Kohli and Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma, who tied the knot in a hush-hush ceremony in Italy on December 11, hosted their wedding reception for friends and relatives in New Delhi on Thursday.
It is not unknown that the couple, who looked like a match made in heaven, is a fan of Punjabi music. Remember Yuvraj Singh and Hazel Keech’s wedding, where Virushka (as their fans fondly call them) were seen doing bhangra on a famous punjabi track. Well, their wedding reception was no different as the newlyweds danced the night away with their friends and family.
The evening was made even more special with popular Punjabi folk singer and actor Gurdas Mann also performed at Virat and Anushka’s wedding reception. Virat could not stop himself from shaking a leg with the singer and his ladylove, Anushka joined him on the dance floor as the noted singer pulled out some of his popular tracks. The couple seemed to have had a great time at their reception at the Hotel Taj Palace.
Apart from the Kohli and the Sharma family, the reception was attended by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and cricketers Suresh Raina, Shikhar Dhawan and Gautam Gambhir.
