India and Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) skipper Virat Kohli turns 32 years old today. Virat, who is currently in UAE for the 13th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2020, celebrated his special day with his teammates and wife Anushka Sharma.
A video has been going viral on the internet of Virat's cake cutting where Anushka is present too, along with his teammates. The video shows Virat cutting the cake and feeding Anushka. It then shows the actor and producer hugging her husband and wishing him a happy birthday. The sweet moment also shows Virat planting a kiss on mom-to-be Anushka's forehead.
Yuzvendra Chahal's fiance Dhanashree Verma also shared pictures of the celebrations from last night and posted a photo with Anushka and Virat. She wrote, "Happy birthday @virat.kohli. I feel extremely lucky to be celebrating your birthday with the best people around @anushkasharma @yuzi_chahal23. You’re an inspiration to many and you guys are the most sweetest people I have come across. Keep growing and keep inspiring."
Kohli is widely regarded as the best batsman of this generation. The right-handed batsman made his debut in international cricket in 2008, just months after leading India to glory in the ICC U19 World Cup.
The right-hander from Delhi is a record-breaking machine for India and Royal Challengers Bangalore. In IPL 2020, he has scored only 460 runs at a decent average with scoring over 60 percent of his runs in singles and twos, making a new record.
On the personal front, Virat is all set to welcome his first child in January 2021 with wife Anushka Sharma. The actor is currently in UAE with her skipper husband and if often seen on stands cheering on him during RCB matches.
Anushka broke the news of her pregnancy on her Instagram handle with a photo of her in a black polka-dot dress and Virat standing behind her in a white t-shirt. "And then, we were three! Arriving Jan 2021," she wrote alongside the picture.
