Watch: Shanaya Kapoor shows her 'filter vs reality' face, writes 'embrace your truest self'

Sanjay Kapoor and Maheep Kapoor's daughter Shanaya Kapoor is gearing up for her Bollywood debut. Ahead of that, she made her Instagram page public and in no time garnered massive followers. On her social media pages, the star kid has been sharing photos and videos from her photoshoots, dance, fun with friends and more. Recently, Shanaya posted an Instagram reel that showed the reality of how she looks vs how filter changes her face.

Shanaya showed her transformation in a split-screen method which changed her real face into a filtered face. While sharing the video, the upcoming actor wrote about embracing one's real self. Her caption read as "embrace your truest self #filtervsreality."

Meanwhile, talking about her debut, Shanaya has been roped in by Karan Johar's talent management company Dharma Cornerstone Agency and will be introduced under his home banner Dharma Productions.

While announcing her Bollywood debut, Shanaya wrote on her Instagram page, "Woke up today with the most grateful heart! Here’s to a great journey ahead with the @dcatalent family. Excited to kickstart my FIRST FILM (ahhh!!) this July by @dharmamovies, can’t wait for you all to see what we’re up to! Stay tuned! #DCASquad."

Before making her acting debut, Shanaya was an assistant director on the sets of Gunjan Saxena: The Kargil Girl starring her cousin and actor Janhvi Kapoor in the titular role.

Sanjay's daughter even made an appearance on her mom Maheep's Netflix show Fabulous Lives of Bollywood Wives which streamed in 2020.
