Video: Nana Patekar's mother Nirmala passes away at 99, actor performs last rites at Oshiwara crematorium

Veteran Bollywood actor Nana Patekar's mother Nirmala Patekar passed away on the morning of January 29. She was 99 and used to live with Nana and his family in a 1 BHK flat in Mumbai. The actor was unfortunately not with her when she breathed her last. 

Nana performed the last rites of his mother on Tuesday at Oshiwara crematorium around 5:30 pm. He was joined by his son Malhar Patekar among other friends and relatives at this hour of crisis.

Nana was quite close to his mother and would often talk about their bond in various interviews. She was reportedly suffering from memory issues.

She had lost his father Gajanan Patekar when he was 28. He has lost many people in his family including his eldest son.
