Veteran actress Saira Banu hospitalised after minor heart attack

Veteran actress Saira Banu was admitted to Hinduja Hoispital three days ago after she suffered a minor heart attack. According to Saira Banu's relative, the legendary actress is currently in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) and is better than before. Saira Banu is 77.

It may be recalled that Saira Banu's husband, legendary actor Dilip Kumar, died recently at the age of 98, due to age-related health issues. Dilip Kumar was buried with state funeral protocols and Saira had thanked PM Narendra Modi and Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray for giving so much respect to the departed soul.

Dilip Kumar passed away on July 7, 2021, at 7.30 am. He was admitted to PD Hinduja hospital in Mumbai. Several celebs including Amitabh Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan, Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray, Sharad Pawar, Shabana Azmi, Madhur Bhandarkar, and others were spotted at his residence to pay tribute to the veteran actor.

From PM Modi, Rahul Gandhi, Shashi Tharoor to Amitabh Bachchan, Akshay Kumar, Ajay Devgn and others all expressed grief over Dilip Kumar's demise. The 98-year-old actor was battling prolonged age-related health issues and Saira Banu remained by his side till his last moment.
