He is one of the biggest actors in B-Town whose movies have had an excellent run at the box office. He is hailed as the youngest superstar of the country, but Varun Dhawan also had his share of hurdles. He not only learnt to overcome them but also turned them his strength. The biggest problem that he faced was stage fright. This was revealed by the actor when the makers of Rani Mukerji’s Hichki asked him about his major hiccup in life.

The Judwaa 2 actor said that when he walked up on stage for the first time, he just froze. He elaborated, “Seeing Madhuri Dixit, the late Srideviji and so many cinema idols in the front row, I was at a loss for words for some time. And when I did speak, I spoke so fast that I was barely coherent. Since I had never faced issues in front of the camera, this hichki came up quite unexpectedly. I decided to address it by listening to and observing my idols. It took time to work. Gradually, I learnt how to tackle this challenge. I worked on it and, eventually, I could perform and speak on stage well. When you set your mind to it, you can overcome such obstacles.”
