Varun Dhawan adds another hit to his kitty with Sui Dhaaga - Made In India

From Student Of The Year to Sui Dhaga - Made In India, actor Varun Dhawan has given consistent hits at the box office. It has been six years since he has entered Bollywood and he is already one of the most successful actors of his generation.

Having acted in 11 films till now, Varun has never given a flop. All his films have performed well at the box-office and the actor has been praised by the critics and audiences for his performances and acting chops.

Over the course of his career so far, he has played a variety of characters. From playing a romantic hero in the 'Dulhania' series to playing angry revengeful husband in 'Badlapur', he has portrayed it all. Recently, he has earned critical acclaim for his role of an emotional boy Dan in Shoojit Sircar's new age tale October.

His films ABCD 2 , Dilwale, Dishoom, Badrinath Ki Dulhania and Judwaa 2 went on to enter the coveted Rs 100 crore club.

The actor continues to rule the box-office and receive rave reviews for his lastest release Sui Dhaga. The film had already garnered Rs. 36.60 crore over the weekend and raked Rs 7 crore on Monday  and Rs 11.75 crore on Tuesday, thereby taking the total collection to Rs 55.35 crore. The film is expected to grow even further over the week.

As of now, Varun is riding high on the success of Sui Dhaaga and is busy in shooting his next with Dharma Productions titled – Kalank. The film also stars Alia Bhatt, Madhuri Dixit Nene, Sanjay Dutt, Sonakshi Sina and Aditya Roy Kapur. Directed by Abhishek Verman, the film is to hit the theatres on April 19, 2019.
