Tigmanshu Dhulia's upcoming film 'Raag Desh' is making the right noises even before its release. The film co-produced by Rajya Sabha TV not only created history with a trailer launch at the Parliament, but will also host a special screening for the outgoing President Pranab Mukherjee. The screening will be attended by Finance Minster Arun Jaitley, Prof PJ Kurien -Deputy Chairman of Rajya Sabha, Vice-President of India Hamid Ansari and other prominent leaders of Rajya Sabha.

The co-producer of the movie Gurdeep singh Sappal shared the joy and honour of hosting the President for the film's premiere by saying ,"It was only befitting that the first screening of the film,produced by Rajya Sabha TV,be held for the President of India.We were fortunate and grateful that the President granted our wish". Even Kunal Kapoor shared his happiness on twitter and wrote, " A huge honour for all of us associated with the film."

 Tigmanshu Dhulia's directorial 'Raag Desh' starring Kunal Kapoor,Amit Sadh,Mohit Marwaha in the lead takes us back to the freedom struggle of Indian National Army created by Netaji Bose. Raag Desh revolves is about one of the forgotten chapters of freedom struggle when Britishers tried to surpress Indian freedom movement but tasted defeat at their end in their own courts in the historic Lal Quilla trial of INA. Cinematography by Rishi Punjab, this film will take audience back to 1946 with a story and songs that promise to rekindle the spirit of nationalism in all. Raag Desh is set for a July 28 release.
