'Thugs of Hindostan' teaser will take away your Monday blues

What is touted to be a massive period piece, Thugs of Hindostan now has a release date and filmmakers unveiled the logo of the movie on Monday.

The 1.16-minutes-long teaser begins with an eerie crooning as the screen tells you that the movie starring Aamir Khan, Amitabh Bachchan, Katrina Kaif, Fatima Sana Sheikh is ready to hit theatres this Diwali. The screen still remains cloudy as a red flag, and a silhouette of a castle, a sepia map of pre-independence India emerge from the shadows.

Then with the company of a war cry, the logo for the movie comes into play. It's a hawk insignia with crossed swords. Music turns from a war cry into a robust marching sound and the release date of November 8 is unveiled.

Thugs of Hindostan will reportedly feature lavish scale, larger-than-life sets, imaginative shot-taking and huge mounting. A whole new world was created in Malta to do justice to the story and first-ever collaboration between megastars like Aamir Khan and Amitabh Bachchan.

Katrina Kaif and Aamir Khan have also shot for two extravagant dance numbers choreographed by Prabhu Deva.

Directed by Vijay Krishna Acharya, the movie seems to be promising an action drama to add to Diwali festivities.
