Karan Johar's directorial debut Kuch Kuch Hota Hai recently clocked 20 years and the filmmaker, along with the cast and crew of the film, marked the occasion with a grand celebration event that was held at a plush suburban hotel in Juhu, Mumbai. However, looks like Karan was still not over the nostalgia as he recently took to his Instagram stories to share a throwback picture from the sets of the film. In the photo, KJo can be seen giving instructions to Shah Rukh Khan before a scene.

The picture was captioned, "Throwback SRK". Well, it's been quite a while since we last saw a Karan Johar directorial starring Shah Rukh in the lead. His last film Ae Dil Hai Mushkil just had a special appearance by SRK. The last time the actor-director duo came together for a full feature film was back in the year 2010 in My Name Is Khan.

While talking about the life changing experience of Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, Karan had earlier told us, "I can’t believe I have been around for two decades in the industry. I also can’t believe that KKHH is 20 years old. I feel like I was a different person then... more innocent, a little more lost, a lot less confident."

Even during the celebrations of 20 years of Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, Karan shared quite a lot of memories from the film's shoot. He revealed that the very first scene that he had shot for the film never made it to the final cut. It was a shot between Shah Rukh and a dentist but apparently Karan realised that it was a bad scene and removed it from the final cut.
