This is where Sonam Kapoor and husband Anand Ahuja plan to settle down after marriage

After being in a relationship for over five years, Sonam Kapoor tied the knot with beau Anand Ahuja on May 8th. After two days of fun-filled wedding ceremonies, the actress immediately returned to work and was in Cannes for her red carpet appearances as well.

Now reports are abuzz that the newlyweds have bought a new house in London and will be shifting there post marriage. While some reports also highlighted the fact that actress will continue to work after her wedding and will juggle between Mumbai, Delhi and London. 'Veere Di Wedding' actress has now cleared the air in an interview to Mid-Day and said,“I have been shuttling between Mumbai and London for the past two years. It seems no one noticed this so far. My life isn’t going to change much; what has been happening for the past two years will continue.”

Sonam also shut down trolls who targetted her for changing her name to Sonam K Ahuja on social media. She said,  “Just changing my name doesn’t make me any less of a feminist. Kapoor is also my father’s name, a man’s name. I wanted to keep both my identities. It was my personal choice. Somebody judging me for my choice is like challenging what feminism stands for.”

The actress who has three film in the pipeline including - Veere Di Wedding, The Zoya Factor with Dulquer Salman and Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga with daddy Anil Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao confirmed that she will continue to work after marriage as well. Sonam said, “Life remains the same after tying the knot. Women need to stop thinking that marriage is life-altering. If it doesn’t change a man’s life, why should it change anything for a woman?”

Veere Di Wedding will be Sonam's first film post marriage which will clash with brother Harshvardhan Kapoor's 'Bhavesh Joshi Superhero' on June 1st.
