This ex-Bigg Boss 11 contestant to join Alia Bhatt, Varun Dhawan and others in 'Kalank'

Alia Bhatt and Varun Dhawan have already been shooting for their next titled Kalank. Recently, Sonakshi Sinha too began shooting for her portions in the multi-starrer. Now, of recent reports are to be believed, then the latest to join Abhishek Varman's multi-starrer film Kalank is popular TV actor and ex Bigg Boss 11 contestant Hiten Tejwani. 

So far the film stars actors like Varun Dhawan, Alia Bhatt, Sanjay Dutt, Madhuri Dixit Nene, Sonakshi Sinha, Aditya Roy Kapur, Kunal Kemmu and Kiara Advani. A report on Mumbai Mirror suggests that Hiten is the latest to jooine the star-studded cast of the Dharma Productions film. 

“Hiten’s character Ahmed shares screen space with Sanjay, Aditya and Alia.He is a trusted employee in a company owned by Sanjay’s character where he also interacts with Aditya and Alia. His portions are expected to wrap up by December,” a source told the tabloid.

Hiten, who was last seen on season 11 of Salman Khan hosted reality TV show Bigg Boss, rose to fame on the small screen with shows like Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi, Kutumb and Pavitra Rishta. Some time back, Sanjay Dutt too joined the sets of Kalank. He has started filming his scenes with Aditya Roy Kapur and Sonakshi Sinha. 

Varun Dhawan, on the other hand is at the moment busy shooting for the last schedule of Sui Dhaaga opposite Anushka Sharma, while Alia Bhatt was last seen prepping for Ayan Mukerji’s Brahmastra with Ranbir Kapoor and Amitabh Bachchan.

Karan Johar in a statement earlier had said that the idea of film was conceived by his father Yash Johar before his demise. “A germ of an idea that I had nearly 15 years ago...a film that was in a pre production stage helmed by my father...am now proud to Pass it onto the extremely capable and visionary hands of our director Abhishek Varman,” Karan said.
