'The Sky Is Pink': Priyanka Chopra, Farhan Akhtar and Zaira Wasim's film finally gets a release date

Priyanka Chopra is all set to return to Bollywood after three years. The actor made a mark in the West with her performance as Alex Parrish in ABC's TV show Quantico. She also went on to star in three Hollywood flicks - Baywatch, A Kid Like Jake and the latest being Isn't It Romantic. Amidst all that, PeeCee kickstarted the shoot of her upcoming Bollywood film, The Sky Is Pink. The actor shot extensively for the film before taking a break for her marriage last year.

People have been waiting impatiently to know the release date of The Sky Is Pink and now they can heave a sigh of relief. The makers of the film finally announced the release date and it is set to hit the screens on October 11, 2019. Talking about The Sky Is Pink, apart from Priyanka, the film also stars Farhan Akhtar, Zaira Wasim and Rohit Saraf in the lead roles. It's a biopic based on motivational speaker Aisha Chaudhary and her role is being played by Zaira. 

The Sky Is Pink is being directed by Shonali Bose and co-produced by Siddharth Roy Kapur's Roy Kapur Films and Priyanka's Purple Pebble Pictures. 

Shonali had earlier revealed that the final schedule of The Sky Is Pink will be shot between March 1, 2019, and March 12, 2019.
