Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior minted Rs. 15.10 crore on the day of its release. According to trade analyst Taran Adarsh, the movie is working well in most parts of Maharashtra, especially in Mumbai and Nizam. The movie is further expected to grow due to healthy word-of-mouth.

"#Tanhaji exceeds expectations and posts healthy total on Day 1... Biz grew rapidly from post-noon onwards... Excellent in #Maharashtra [#Mumbai, parts of #CP and #Nizam circuits]... Glowing word of mouth should ensure solid growth on Day 2 and 3... Fri ₹ 15.10 cr. #India biz.," he tweeted.

Rajinikanth's Darbar has managed to work well worldwide. The movie earned Rs. 1.20 crore only in Hindi version all-India. Apart from that, the movie has picked up well in Singapore, USA, and Australia, something which Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior failed to do. While Deepika's Chhapaak Box Office collections are yet to be revealed, it is being reported that Mahesh Babu's Sarileru Neekevvaru has also opened quite well in the USA.
