Taapsee Pannu recalls how seven-minute role in 'Baby' changed 'direction of tide for good', Akshay Kumar reacts

It's been six years since Neeraj Pandey's directorial Baby released. The film stars  Akshay Kumar in the lead role while Taapsee Pannu, Rana Daggubati, Danny Denzongpa, Anupam Kher, Mikaal Zulfiqar, Kay Kay Menon, Madhurima Tuli, and Rasheed Naz starred as supporting characters. As the film clocked six years of its release, Taapsee took to her Twitter page and recalled how a seven-minute role changed the 'direction of the tide for good'.

Taapsee shared the posters of Baby and wrote, "Dear actors, Number of minutes don’t matter, the impact u leave with what you do in those minutes... matters :) Seven minutes that changed the direction of the tide for me FOR GOOD. Yours truly, Naam Shabana @neerajpofficial @ShitalBhatiaFFW @akshaykumar."

Soon after Baby, in the year 2017, its spin-off titled Naam Shabana released. The film starred Taapsee in the titular role with Akshay in a special cameo. 

Akshay and Taapsee have also featured together in the 2019 release Mission Mangal which also starred Vidya Balan, Sonakshi Sinha, Nithya Menen, Kirti Kulhari, Sharman Joshi, H. G. Dattatreya, and Vikram Gokhale in the lead roles.

Now, Taapsee is busy with the shoot of Rashmi Rocket with Priyanshu Painyuli which she is headlining. The actor also has Haseen Dillruba with Vikrant Massey, Looop Lapeta with Tahir Raj Bhasin among many others.
