Sushant Singh Rajput-Shraddha Kapoor starrer Chhichhore has gone on to collect great numbers at the Box Office so far
It is no surprise that Sushant Singh Rajput and Shraddha Kapoor starrer 'Chhichhore' has gone on to mint some huge numbers at the Box Office. The movie has been performing extremely well, and even with little competition from Ayushmann Khurrana-Nushrat Bharucha starrer Dream Girl, it went on to fare quite well.
'Chhichhore', helmed by 'Dangal' director Nitesh Tiwari, is expected to make lifetime collection of Rs. 150 crore. The Sushant Singh Rajput-Shraddha Kapoor starrer thus happens to be the second highest grossing college drama film in Bollywood so far, after Aamir Khan's '3 Idiots'.
'3 Idiots', which was directed by Rajkumar Hirani and starred R. Madhavan and Sharman Joshi alongside Aamir Khan, had gone on to mint Rs. 202.50 crore back when it released in 2009. The film, adapted from Chetan Bhagat's book Five Point Someone, went on to become a cult classic by being one of the first movies, that too featuring Aamir Khan, to enter Rs. 200 crore club.
Arjun Kapoor-Alia Bhatt's '2 States', again an adaptation from Chetan Bhagat's book of the same name, remains as the third highest grossing college drama film, followed by 'Student Of The Year', 'Half Girlfriend', 'Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na', 'Rang De Basanti', 'Kuch Kuch Hota Hai', 'Main Hoon Na' and 'Khiladi'.
