Suniel Shetty reacts to Shah Rukh Khan’s son Aryan Khan’s arrest in drugs case

After Shah Rukh Khan's son Aryan Khan was detained and questioned by the Narcotics Control Bureau on Saturday superstar Suniel Shetty expressed his support for him. The NCB raided a party at which Aryan was a guest. It was also said to have discovered narcotics onboard.

In a video uploaded by ANI, Suniel was speaking at an event and asked for a ‘breather’ for Aryan. “I would like to say that wherever there is a raid, several people are caught. And we assume that this child must have consumed drugs or this child must have done it. But the proceedings are on, let’s give that child a breather,” he said.

The actor added, “Whenever something happens in Bollywood, the media scrutinises everything and jumps to conclusions. Give the child an opportunity. Let the real reports come out. Baccha hai (He’s a kid). Taking care of him is our responsibility.”

As far as the update in the case is concerned, Aryan Khan has been arrested in connection with the rave party. 

"It’s a result of a painstaking investigation that went on for two weeks. We acted on specific intelligence inputs, involvement of some Bollywood links has come to light," said NCB chief SN Pradhan to ANI. 

Sources said that besides Aryan Khan, his friend Arbaaz Merchantt, Munmun Dhamecha, Nupur Sarika, Ismeet Singh, Mohak Jaswal, Vikrant Chhoker and Gomit Chopra are also being questioned by the NCB.

It is learnt that the NCB has seized Aryan Khan’s phone and the NCB officers are scanning the phone.
