Cricketer KL Rahul and B-town diva Athiya Shetty have been rumoured to be dating for a while now. The duo, who are both currently in England, often drop subtle hints on the Instagram handle about what's brewing between the two but haven't confirmed their relationship in public.
Nonetheless, KL Rahul and Athiya Shetty often make headlines and grab social media attention every time they share a photo with each other or drop a comment on one another's posts.
As per reports, KL Rahul listed Athiya as his partner on the official document before leaving for the WTC final in England and that's how the diva accompanied him on the tour. However, Athiya's father has something else to say.
While confirming that Athiya sure is in England, actor Suniel Shetty told the Bombay Times that she has gone there with her brother Ahan for a holiday. He said, "Yes, she is in England, but she is with Ahan. The brother-sister duo has gone there for a holiday. Rest you may check with them," told the actor to Bombay Times.
In his interview with TOI, while avoiding talking about their rumoured relationship, when asked about Athiya and KL Rahul being brand ambassadors for the same eye brand, Suniel said, "I think it is best you speak to them."
"As far as the ad goes… I mean it is an international brand and they chose to take the two of them as the ambassadors. I think they look brilliant together. They are a good-looking couple, na? So, it totally works from a brand perspective. And I must say, they look good together, well, in the ad (laughs!)," he added.
Suniel Shetty had recently shared a photo on his Instagram featuring his son Ahan and KL Rahul. He had captioned it as "My Love My Strength (sic)". When asked about that, Suniel Shetty said that KL Rahul was one of his favourite cricketers while adding Ahan and Rahul and friends.
Suniel Shetty was recently in the news when he refuted reports claiming that his building has been sealed by the BrihanMumbai Municipal Corporation, and called it misreporting and fake news.
Shetty, who resides in Prithvi Apartments in South Mumbai's Altamount Road, tweeted claiming there is no "Delta Variant" in his building society. The actor said that while a notice has been put up on one wing, the entire building had not been sealed.
