We already know Tiger Shroff will go back to college with this film directed by Punit Malhotra, but we waited with baited breath to know the lead heroines for the film. Seems KJo's search is over. Name of Chunky Panday's daughter Ananya Panday's has been doing the rounds for the longest time now and how KJo is impressed with the star kid and her audition for a role in the film. Now, Mumbai Mirror reported that she has been finalised for the part.
The Mumbai daily reported that 'Student of The Year 2' will have a role reversal. It will have not one but two leading ladies and one man - Tiger Shroff. The report says that the beautiful Ananya Panday, 19, has been finalised for the Punit Malhotra directorial.
Tiger Shroff's other leading lady in the film is 22 year old Tara Sultaria. The TV hotness who debuted with Disney's show 'Big Bada Boom' is all set to debut with film produced by Dharma productions and reportedly Karan Johar auditioned close to 800 girls for the role before finalising Tara for the part.
Earlier, there were rumours of Miss World, Manushi Chillar being roped in but KJo had dismissed these rumours. The filmmaker said, “There is no truth to the news yet. We are very proud of Manushi’s achievements. I was hosting the show the year she won, so I have met her before and I did see potential in her. I look forward to meeting her… I haven’t met her yet after she won the crown for India. But there has been nothing discussed yet."
'Student of The Year 2' is all set to hit the screens on November 23, 2018.
