It's the 13th day since India's first female superstar - Sridevi left for heavenly abode. Husband Boney Kapoor and his brother Anil Kapoor were spotted leaving for Haridwar at the Mumbai Airport earlier today to pray for her departed soul.
Recently, the duo also visited Rameswaram where Sridevi's ashes were immersed in the holy waters. Looks like a part of her ashes was to be immersed at Haridwar, for which the Kapoor brothers, along with designer Manish Malhotra, Amar Singh and other family members were spotted conducting a pyayer at the VIP ghat in Haridwar.
As per ANI's tweet, post the prayer, the 'asthi visarjan' of Sridevi was performed by the family members.
Reportedly, the family members will stay in Haridwar for a few days. Post that, they'll head to Chennai on the 16th day where a prayer meet is said to be organised for the late legendary actress.
Sridevi has passed away on February 24 in Dubai due to 'accidental dorwning' in her hotel bath tub, following loss of consciousness. She had gone to Dubai to attend a family wedding. The actress was cremated in Mumbai with full state honours on February 28.
