Sara Ali Khan and Kartik Aaryan spent some memorable moments on the sets of Love Aaj Kal 2. It appeared that the two had actually fallen in love with each other even in real life, but as destiny has it, they might be headed for a break up soon.

A report on Mumbai Mirror states that Sara Ali Khan and Kartik Aaryan might go their separate ways. More so, Kartik Aaryan has clearly told every photographer to not capture them together since he wants to have an identity of more than just being Sara Ali Khan's boyfriend.

This report stated that not only Kartik, even Sara Ali Khan is on board with this decision. They both would like the attention towards their professional life, and thus they decided to let their work, rather than romance, make headlines. Thus, Kartik and Sara might not be seen in public more often, especially before their movie, directed by Imtiaz Ali, is about to release and they are called for its promotions.

Interestingly, Kareena, who invited Kartik Aaryan to her radio show's reboot version as the only male guest apart from Saif Ali Khan, had also shunned rumours about Sara and Kartik. On Koffee With Karan, when the actress was asked who is Sara dating, she went on to answer, "Sara's dating her career".
