Jiah Khan's death case has remained unsolved for the past eight years. However, now the case has now been transferred to a special CBI court. Previously, her ex-boyfriend Sooraj Pancholi was facing charges of suspected abetment at the sessions court. On Friday, ANI tweeted about the same.

The tweet read, “Actor Jiah Khan death case: CBI court will now hear the case pending for 8 yrs. The sessions court, which was conducting a trial against her boyfriend actor Suraj Pancholi on charges of alleged abetment, has said that the trial should be transferred to a spl CBI court”

Post this news, Jiah’s mother, Rabia told Times of India, “The innocent Jiah had no fault. A wise decision by the court now. CBI will retrieve evidence from Maharashtra police after nine years. CBI has Scarman's report, experts forensic report, they need to send evidence to forensics to analyse whether the ligature could imprint just injuries on Jiah. We expect applaudable answers to the truth because Jiah would never take her life, and she was killed beyond a reasonable doubt.”

For the unversed, Jiah’s death was considered a suicide, but her mother, Rabiya, insists she was murdered and blames her boyfriend at the time, actor Sooraj Pancholi, who was named in a suicide note discovered by police.
