Sonu Nigam has sung a patritotic song for the Indo-Tibetan Border Police Force. The video features his song playing in the backdrop and visuals of the police force in action.The 2.17 minute long Hindi song, "Hum Sarhad ke senani, hum sachchey hindustani...' was unveiled by Union Home Secretary Rajiv Mehrishi as he visited the forces' headquarters.

The song had been written long time ago, but was modified to create this version. 90000 personal in the ITBP force wanted the song to be sung by Sonu Nigum and senior officials went to Mumbai to meet the singer who agreed to lend his voice without asking for any money.  Indian Tibetan Border Police Force works under the command of the Union home ministry, is primarily tasked with guarding the 3,488 km long Sino-Indian frontier and its border posts located at altitudes ranging from 9,000 to 18, 700 feet. It was raised in 1962, in the aftermath of the Chinese aggression.
