Nigam shared a video calling out the Ministry of Labour, reminding them that he is not on Twitter since three years. Sonu also stated that cyber police in India is a joke or else such an incident would have never taken place.

He said that what started out as justice for Sushant Singh Rajput, has gone down to a new low with the kind of memes going viral. He was especially upset with the fake accounts that have opened since three years that he has deactivated his account. The accounts, he points out, share ridiculous posts that he would never want to be part of.

Sonu ended his video pleading people not to retweet from his fake accounts. He said that shaming people does not make him happy, and he wants to self-inspect, from which he doesn't wish to be distracted.
