Sonam Kapoor gets Youtube sensation Lisa Mishra to sing Tareefan's reprise version and it's beyond beautiful

DNA was among the first ones to tell you that Sonam Kapoor had been planning something really special with Youtube sensation Lisa Mishra, whose latest video (in which she has remixed Veere Di Wedding's song 'Tareefan' with Justin Bieber's 'Let Me Love You') had got the entire nation hooked.

And today, we finally got to see what the ladies were up to all these days. Turns out Sonam and producer Rhea Kapoor had got Lisa to Mumbai a few days back to record a reprise version of Tareefan, after her Instagram video went viral. And now that it's finally out, we can't decide which version of it do we like better. While the original track is the ultimate party song of the year, this one is jazzier and hits you right in the heart from the very first note. Lisa's textured, seductive voice definitely makes the song stand out in the eight-song album.

The video has the lead cast of the film - Sonam, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Swara Bhasker and Shikha Talsania lip-syncing to the melody while Rhea quietly makes her cameo debut.

Sonam shared the video on Instagram, with the caption, "You've been jamming hard to #Tareefan, now it's time to sing along to its melody. #TareefanReprise out now #3DaysToVDW"

Lisa obviously is overwhelmed by the entire incident. "One week ago, I put up a little video on Instagram after hearing #Tareefan on repeat 20 times while driving home from work. I went to bed and within 10 hours my life changed. I flew to Mumbai and in a matter of one week, with @rheakapoor and @qaranx by my side we created #TareefanReprise. The amount of gratitude I feel is indescribable. To @sonamkapoor, @ektaravikapoor, @anilskapoor, @anandahuja, @harshvardhankapoor, @badboyshah and so so many more- thanks for making my dream a reality. Eternally grateful," an elated Lisa posted on Instagram.

Here's what the music composer of the song Qaran had to say: "The best things in life happen by chance. I stumbled upon @lisamishramusic's cover on Instagram and was blown away by her talent. She was in the studio with me 24 hours later. The rest is history. None of this would have been possible with my friend and mad genius @rheakapoor who has taught me so much. I am truly indebted. So, until next time, enjoy the official reprised version of my debut single #tareefan !!! P.S @lisamishramusic : You are proof that ducks can fly... Quack quack "

Ekta Kapoor also gave a shout out to Lisa on Instagram. "We saw her instah video.... n four days later she was recording #tareefanreprise ! ( do not mis my gorgeous co producer in d video making her cameo debut ) @rheakapoor," she wrote.
