Sonam Kapoor called Kangana Ranaut a troublemaker on Anaita Shroff Adajania's chat show
Known for not mincing her words and often not having any filter while saying something, Sonam Kapoor Ahuja recently too was at her honest best.
The Veere Di Wedding actress, while speaking to fashion stylist and fashion director at Vogue India, Anaita Shroff Adajania, on her chat show, Sonam opened up about a lot of things.
Some of the questions asked by the host had the potential to receive no response by other stars, but Sonam seemed fine at answering everything.
When asked, which of the stars in the industry, she considered, to be a troublemaker? Kangana Ranaut, was the actress' reply.
However, Sonam didn't say this in a negative way.
In fact, the actress further added that she thought Kangana was a troublemaker in the best possible way.
“She wants to break the glass ceiling and you need to be a troublemaker to do that. Not a trouble maker, but someone who stirs the pot. She does it in the most incredible way, so kudos to her,” Sonam Kapoor told Anaita.
It may be recalled that the Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi actress has, in the past, run into trouble with some of biggest and most powerful people in Bollywood.
Kangana, didn't even refrain from calling Karan Johar “the flag bearer of nepotism” in Bollywood, at his show Koffee With Karan.
The claim created a furore in the Hindi film industry.
Later, on journalist Rajat Sharma’s Aap Ki Adalat, Kangana had spoken frankly of her affairs with Hrithik Roshan, Adhyayan Suman and her abuse at the hands of Aditya Pancholi.
Prior to that, Kangana had a public spat with Hrithik Roshan.
Only a few weeks back, she again made it to the headlines after the director of her upcoming film, Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi, left the project midway and Kangana took over as its director.
Soon, her co-star Sonu Sood left the project and she accused him of refusing to work under a female director. He hit back saying it was competence, not the issue of being directed by a female director, which led him to move on.
