Sonakshi Sinha begins shooting for Salman Khan starrer 'Dabangg 3', captivates as 'Rajjo' on day 1

Four days after 'Chulbul Pandey' Salman Khan began shooting for 'Dabangg 3', his on-screen wife 'Rajjo' aka Sonakshi Sinha has joined him in the shooting. The actress begins shooting for the movie today. She called it 'homecoming' and asked her fans to wish her luck.

"RAJJO is back!!! From Dabangg, to Dabangg 3...Its homecoming. Day 1 of shoot for me today, wish me luck," Sonakshi Sinha shared along with a captivating photo of her as Rajjo. In the photo, the actress dons a hot pink saree with a flower tied to her open hair.

Sonakshi had previously updated her fans that she is on her way to shoot for the film. She shared a photo in monochrome as her Instagram story and captioned it, "On my way to 'Dabangg 3'". The actress wore a white kurta-pyjama with blue floral print and a dupatta. It is the same attire which she donned at 'Kalank' trailer launch.

According to reports, the actress will be shooting an action sequence on her first day. According to news report, the scene is that where she gets kidnapped and Chulbul Pandey (played by Salman Khan) comes to her rescue. The scene is reportedly an important part of the movie.

Directed by 'Wanted' helmer Prabhudheva, 'Dabangg 3' also stars Arbaaz Khan back as Makkhi. The actor has also begun shooting for his portions in Madhya Pradesh. The movie, which is touted to be a Christmas release, might clash with Alia Bhatt-Ranbir Kapoor starrer 'Brahmastra'.
